Central Park is the best place to spend New Year's eve in New York City: fireworks, music, lots of people, a festive 4 mile race at midnight, and unlike Times Square, lots of bathrooms!

The Pride of the Buckeyes–The Ohio State University Marching Band
The Ohio State University Marching Band is one of the best rewards for growing up in Ohio. I spent my elementary school years marching around in the backyard pretending I was a band member, and I spent 4 football Saturdays this fall photographing the band as a personal project while they rehearsed for the game or marched to/from the skull session. I have some ideas for some shots I didn't get a chance to shoot this time around. I can't wait to do photograph them again next year.
